Yes, but just let us know prior to the trip. We will make sure you know the times to meetup at Embassy Suites on Friday & Saturday.
Savannah Hilton Head Airport is charming and very easy to fly into. While the hotel does not offer an airport shuttle, it is a quick Uber or Taxi ride to the historic district of Savannah. Of course, from many states you may find that it’s easier to simply drive and have your car for further exploration pre or post trip!
If you are a Jacket flying solo and wish to find a roommate to potentially split the hotel cost, let us know when you purchase your Tour Package and we will put you in touch with anyone else having the same desire. We recommend you still reserve a room that can be canceled just in case, and cannot guarantee you will find a roommate.

Absolutely! Embassy Suites will do it’s best to offer shoulder dates at the same rate based on availability. Contact us if you would like help booking those after registration.
During the day in your free time, you will be just a short walk from River Street and all the historic attractions that Savannah has to offer. We encourage you to consider the following attractions that you may also find interesting: - Savannah History Museum - Juliet Gordon Low House - Girl Scouts Museum - Andrew Lowe House - Savannah Riverboat - The Beach Institute - Wormsloe State Historic Site - Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD) - Fort Pulaski or Fort Jackson - Green-Meldrim House - Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist - Congregation Mickve Israel Historic Synagogue - Tybee Island (Lighthouse, Pier, Shopping)
After the first game against UGA we think you will be raring and ready to see Tech face off against another opponent and go after the crown as tournament champion. However, we will have a return to the hotel after dinner Saturday if you wish to only attend Friday night’s game and make other plans for Saturday night.
On Friday, you may or may not have the option to watch University of Florida play Tennessee depending on the location and time of the pregame party. Likely it will be at Enmarket Arena during the previous game and you can view as you wish. However, on Saturday night depending on game time, we may offer multiple shuttles to/from the hotel so that you can choose to stay for just one or watch both hockey games.

Things to know

Alumni Hockey Game

There is a remote possibility that we will have an alumni hockey game on Saturday or on Sunday morning. In that case, and add-on will be made available so that each person playing could chip in for ice time. Please make sure to checkmark at booking that you would be interested in playing, and prepared to bring all your own gear!

Room Types

All rooms include a kitchenette and living room with sofa bed and a separate bedroom and bath. Our block includes King Suites and 2 Queen Bed Suites while supplies last.

Easy Payment Plan

You will have the option to pay in full or pay a $50pp deposit now to reserve your spot, and then 2 equal payments auto-paid in November & December.

Minimum Participation

A minimum participation of 20 guests is required for this trip. If the participation threshold is not met by the registration deadline of November 22nd, 2024 registrants will be reimbursed their deposit. Only make travel reservations after this date. We will email you and provide you with the hotel block link as soon as minimum participation is achieved.

Flexible Cancelation Policy

You will be able to cancel by written notice anytime before November 17th and receive a full refund. Spots are going fast on this tour! Reserve your spot with a $50 per person deposit as soon as possible.

All tour package sales are final and non-refundable after November 22nd, however if you decide you are not able to attend, you may contact us and transfer the package to a friend or someone on the waitlist anytime before tickets are distributed.

Health & Accessibility

You must be in good health to participate in this tour as there will be a significant amount of walking on gamedays and during sightseeing, and you must be able to get on and off of motorcoaches and trolleys on your own. We regret that we can not give you individual assistance; in such cases you must be accompanied by a companion who will assist you.
